Update
After a long journey, our team finally arrived in Endana today. We were greeted by around 200 members of the community. It was so good to reconnect with friends I've made over the years. I'm still amazed by how strong the bond can be between people from such dramatically different backgrounds. Many of our friends here feel like family. After the welcome event, we walked down the street to the Endana Secondary School where we led a "Youth Seminar." Kristin Henderson led the group in two worship songs from her ipod. It was a cool moment to hear our voices joined by theirs. After the song, I shared a short message based on the life of King Josiah and then we broke into small groups for discussion. Johnathan Sublett and I took the high school seniors (Form 4). They were tons of fun to talk with, but we also have an incredible opportunity. Two of the boys in my group are Muslim and seem very open to hearing about Jesus Christ. Pray that God does an amazing work in their hearts this week. More to come! Aaron Sanders
