Jambo,
This week in Kenya has been the most amazing part of my summer so far! The first day we went to the school and I was a bit nervous because I wasn't sure if the kids were going to remember me or not. Everything went so well last year that i was hoping the same for this year. As we got off the bus all the kids lined up on the side of the road and greeted us with shaking hands and hello's. Next I hear little voices saying " Dominique, Dominique!" My heart was so happy to hear that! I also saw my sponsor child that day since she goes to endana.I re-united with all my friends from last year which was great! :) I have seen so much of endana, including the churches, home visits, the new water pump and the town center as well as the other primary school we visited. I had a blasted meeting with those kids. They were different then endana. They were more enthusiastic and talked more. Their school building look like what the endana's primary school looked like 3 years ago. It's so cool to see how far endana's community has come. Today we went to the secondary school and talked with them ab self worth, confidence, responsibility, and purity drugs and alcohol. I enjoyed talking to the girls about purity and answering their questions. God is showing me so much in this trip and also deepening my love for these people. They don't even know me and as soon as i see them they want to run up and shake my hand and hold it. I love these kids so much. I am really praying that as i go back to that i will be able to carry the love i have for these people to the american people. Its so easy to love here, or maybe its because i see no reason not to love them with all my heart. Be praying for me and the rest of them team this week that God will do more big things
Thank you,
Dominique Aldridge
